Consistency comes first
As with any physical activity, what counts is short sessions, repeated. A muscle that is worked regularly gets used to the effort; a muscle worked once a month, much less so.
A realistic rhythm
- Getting started (weeks 1 to 3): five minutes a day, five to six days a week. You learn the movements and build the habit.
- Settling in (weeks 4 to 8): five to ten minutes a day. You alternate areas and types of sessions: face yoga, massage, drainage, relaxation.
- Going deeper (from week 9): you add advanced sessions two or three times a week, keeping gentle sessions on the other days.
Keep at least one rest day a week for the most intense sessions.
At what time?
- In the morning: drainage and wake-up sessions help reduce puffiness and give your skin a glow.
- At the office: express breaks relax the forehead, eyes and jaw.
- In the evening: massage and relaxation help release the tension of the day and prepare you for sleep.
The best time is the one you can stick to. Attach your session to a habit you already have: your morning coffee, brushing your teeth, the end of your skincare routine.
How long before you see a difference?
Most people notice a feeling first: a more relaxed face, a less clenched jaw. For visible changes, allow several weeks of regular practice, keeping in mind that every face reacts differently. Photos taken in the same conditions every two to four weeks will help you track your progress without relying on your mood that day.
If you miss a day
It doesn’t matter. Pick up again the next day, without trying to make up for it with a session twice as long. Consistency over several months matters far more than one perfect week.
